Terms of Use
These Terms of Use constitute the binding legal terms governing access to and use of the YoruLearn website, mobile application, educational content, and related support services, including Premium subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google.
1. Acceptance and Scope
- These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the YoruLearn website, the YoruLearn mobile application, educational content made available through those services, and related support communications.
- By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, the YoruLearn Privacy Policy, and any applicable app-store rules governing your download, subscription, or purchase.
- If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you must not access or use the service.
2. Eligibility and License Scope
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction and, in any event, at least 13 years of age to use the service.
- Subject to these Terms of Use, YoruLearn grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- No right is granted to copy, redistribute, commercially exploit, or make the service available to third parties except as expressly permitted by these Terms of Use or by mandatory law.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, store account, credentials, and subscription purchases and for all activity occurring through them.
3. Subscription Offerings, Billing, and Auto-Renewal
- YoruLearn may offer auto-renewable Premium subscriptions, including monthly and yearly plans, through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized distribution channels.
- The subscription title, duration, price, and any introductory offer are presented in the purchase flow before you confirm the transaction.
- The applicable Apple ID, Google Play account, or other authorized store account will be charged at the time you confirm the purchase in accordance with the relevant platform rules.
- Unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date in accordance with the store platform’s rules, subscriptions renew automatically for successive billing periods.
- Where permitted by the platform, the renewal charge may be processed within the period immediately preceding the end of the then-current subscription term.
- You are responsible for managing cancellations, renewal preferences, and refund requests through the store account and store settings used for the purchase.
- Billing is administered by the relevant store platform. We do not control store billing systems and are not responsible for billing errors, bank fees, or refund determinations made by Apple, Google, or other distribution providers.
4. Cancellation, Refunds, and Restoration
- Subscription cancellation must be completed through the store platform from which the subscription was purchased and will generally take effect at the end of the then-current billing period unless the platform states otherwise.
- Refunds, charge disputes, purchase corrections, and payment reversals are administered by Apple, Google, or the applicable authorized distributor in accordance with that provider’s policies and procedures.
- Where supported, the application may offer a restore-purchases or entitlement-refresh function, but successful restoration depends on the same store account, platform services, and purchase records remaining available.
- Temporary inability to restore or verify a subscription may result from connectivity issues, provider outages, account mismatches, store restrictions, or configuration problems outside YoruLearn’s direct control.
5. License Restrictions and Acceptable Conduct
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works from the service except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- You may not circumvent subscription restrictions, manipulate entitlement checks, interfere with advertising, analytics, or security controls, or attempt to obtain Premium access except through an authorized purchase flow.
- You may not use the service in a manner that infringes rights, interferes with infrastructure, bypasses security measures, generates abusive automated traffic, or otherwise violates applicable law or platform rules.
- We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, service providers, or the service.
6. Content, Availability, and Product Changes
- We may modify, improve, suspend, remove, or restrict features, content, or availability at any time, including where changes are required by licensors, platform providers, legal requirements, or security considerations.
- Not every feature, lesson, media item, study module, or subscription benefit is guaranteed to remain available indefinitely or in every country, language, device class, or platform version.
- Availability of features may depend on device compatibility, third-party services, internet connectivity, geographic region, or store-platform approval.
- Beta, preview, experimental, or limited-release functionality may be incomplete, unstable, or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
7. Intellectual Property
- The service, software, branding, design, text, educational materials, and related content are owned by YoruLearn or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property and related laws.
- Except for the limited license expressly granted by these Terms of Use, no ownership right, title, or interest in the service or its content is transferred to you.
- Third-party materials remain subject to the terms, licenses, and rights of their respective owners.
8. Termination
- You may discontinue use of the service at any time and may remove the application from your device at your discretion.
- We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice where permitted by law, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms of Use, applicable law, or platform rules, or if continued access presents security, legal, or operational risk.
- Termination or suspension does not entitle you to a refund except to the extent required by the policies of the applicable store platform or by mandatory law.
- Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature are intended to survive termination, including intellectual-property protections, disclaimers, liability limitations, and payment obligations already incurred.
9. Disclaimers
- The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
- We make no representation or warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every user, learning objective, or device configuration.
- Educational content is provided for general informational and study purposes only and does not constitute professional educational, legal, medical, or financial advice.
- We do not warrant that use of the service will result in any specific educational outcome, proficiency level, examination result, certification result, or business result.
10. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YoruLearn and its operators, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
- To the extent liability cannot be excluded, liability shall be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
- Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer-protection law.
- Because some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, portions of this section may apply only to the extent permitted by the law applicable to you.
11. App Store Terms, Governing Law, and Miscellaneous
- If you downloaded the iOS application from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to applicable App Store rules.
- Unless a custom EULA is provided in App Store Connect for your territory, the iOS application is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
- If you downloaded the Android application through Google Play or another authorized Android distribution channel, your use is also subject to the applicable store terms and policies of that platform.
- These Terms of Use are governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory consumer rights and any local law that cannot be waived by contract.
- If any provision of these Terms of Use is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force to the extent permitted by law.
- No failure or delay by YoruLearn in exercising any right or remedy shall operate as a waiver of that right or remedy.
- Questions regarding these Terms of Use may be sent to support@yorulearn.com.
